Who is leaking what ??

I live in France, very rarely use axon.co.uk (you know which on-line shop I mean) but do use the French one.  I followed the discussion on hardening stainless steel/ knife blades a few days ago.

So isn’t it peculiar that Azon.co.uk should send me an e-mail all about their Stanley knife blades today!!!

I did get things like that but since I’ve moved to a more secure browser I no longer have the problem.

As the site uses a google catcha every one logging in notifies themselves to Google as interested in model engineering – the specific details of your browser, history etc are then available to effectively finger print your computer – trivial then to match you when looking at other sites – there are at least two other marketing trackers used by this site – the sale of your details is, I guess, the payment for accessing the site
