what size drill and tap needed

hi chaps. will I know that this is a dumb question, but what size drill and tap do I need to for a blower valve. the drawings I have for the speedy show a home made affair which is part of the bush. I am going to use a shop item that screws into the bush. but I am lost with what drill and tap size to use to cut the thread. miichael

As blower valves vary in size and the threads can vary between makers I would suggest you buy the valve and then see what thread it has on it.
