Just to be clear, my post was NOT meant to be justifying the use of ordinary glass!
Hi, a bit of a basic question but what is considered the optimum diameter gauge glass for 31/2" gauge and is it the same if there are twin gauges ?
Nigel
I forgot where I bought my gauge glass from, but is there any non destructive way of telling if it is toughened or borosilicate or just plain glass. The tube is just clear glass and to cut to length, I scored it and then snapped it to length. bobh
