WANTED Deckel SK40 or 4MT 1″ Horizontal Arbor

Hi folk ideally I'm looking for a Deckel SK40 20x2mm one inch [1"] horizontal arbor.

A 4MT or BT40 1" arbor would help worst case.

I know there will be a number of these out there and most will never have been used.

More than happy to pay good money for this piece of tooling.

Better to put an advert in the ‘wanted’ section. It won’t disappear from view as quickly!

But why not just make one? Is it special?

I’m making a 1/2” arbor at the moment (just needs threading). I made a 22mm arbor for my Centec and 16mm for my rotary table. Soon need an 18mm one as well.

I start with a soft MT blank, fit an oversized bar in it and machine to size. Shrink fitting worked for the horizontal arbor. I might pin it sometime, but it doesn’t get really heavy use.

Thanks for your comments but I'm looking for the "Real" thing. I want ground and hardened.

"If" I were to make it, I'd want to make an SK40 mount and that requires a S20mm x 2mm butress thread (a indexable tip is simply not available from commercial sources as the thread has a non standard 30degree pitch).
