            Very nice too!

I do like multi function machine tools.

I have one of the Meyer & Burger S models with some accessories, be nice to have all of them but I would need a lottery win (and a bigger workshop). It seems to be a very capable machine for its size.

I bought a used Impetus (Metalmaster) machine a few years ago, very compact and also with adjustable height headstock. The idea of this was a one machine workshop, with the optional drill attachment, it would do that well. It deserved to sell a lot better than it did.

I doubt that there will be much further development of machines of this type. A CNC spindle and workholder can do everything they do and more.

Still some fascinating stuff out there though!

With a swivel vertical slide on my Warco WM250V, I keep finding I can do stuff that would normally be done in a small mill/drill.

My purchasing plans for a mill keep going onto the back burner… indecision
