Trying to find 16mm slitting saw arbor for lathe

Hi All..

Ive a couple of slitting saws with 16mm (exact) bore. I'm trying to find an arbor exactly 16mm – all I can find is 5/8 which is too small and the saw runs eccentrically!

It will need a parallel shank as I use it in a lathe…

Any help appreciated!

RDG do a set of 3 that includes 16mm but they are not that hard to make.

Yes I could do of course Roy but not too much time available. I have one of those stepped ones which are really useful but only on an imperial size. If there was one off the shelf for a tenner or so I'll consider that !

These folks look promising … But I doubt if they're a Tenner.

For occasional use, I would be tempted to make some oversize blanks and skim one [to size and concentricity] as and when required.
