Should the threads on the Pump wrist pin be 7/64″ and not 7/32″ as shown

 

 Is there any reason for the passageways on the pump body and bottom union to be reamed 1/8″ whilst in the top union it is drilled No.40 and what is the diameter of the horizontal passageway in the top union

 

 A request, can small components be drawn 2 or 3 times full size for the sake of clarity.

The threads on the wrist pin should be 3/32 or 7ba the end of the pin being machined from 7/64 to suit for a length of 5/32. The passageways on the pump body and the bottom union are reamed 1/8 to provide a seating for the pump balls. Note that while the bottom union can be faced off to provide a flat seating the 1/4 x 40 top hole on the pump body needs to be drilled 7/32 and then a flat bottom formed in the hole with the same sized D bit before tapping,being careful not to damage the seat with the tap. The horizontal passageway in the top union is No.40.

One thing i forgot to say.The drawings also show the small end of the pump eccentric rod drilled 3/32,this is a mistake which should read 7/64 to match the diameter of the wrist pin.
