If UK, probably 55 degree, Whit form threads. If American, possibly Unified with 60 degree threads. If European, or more recent Far Eastern most likely totbe Metyric, 60 degree thread,

One needs to be careful about making assumptions. The spindle nose thread on my Elliott 10" universal dividing head (presumably made in the UK) is 2"-10 UNS. The thread form is quite a sharp V, so not exactly like UNC.

Just for those who are interested i found the hague thread calculator app for ipad/phone has a listing for this thread , it also does many other odd threads like UNEF , UNS etc and it is free .these days i use my old ipad exclusively for these apps as it saves a lot of time that would be wasted rummaging around looking through books . Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be available for android phones .

Do you have a link, please ?

I can find no relevant reference to hague on the UK app store.

I have no personal links to any of these apps i started using them when my shop calc calculator died and i didnt want to fork out $100au + for a new one especially when i had an old ipad that still work fine and i can choose what apps i put on it . Some of these apps have a pro version where you pay a small one off fee to purchase it , they sometimes unlock a few more features and get rid of the ads.

Excellent selection of apps, thanks Ian. These sort of things can be difficult to find unless you hit on the correct search terms.

There is something strange going on with the UK App Store

Your link works fine, and directs me to the App …

but simply searching the store didn't show it.
