I have an Eccentric Engineering Diamond turning tool but have lost the jig. I made a copy out of wood and have lost that!!  Does anyone have drawings or a photo so I can make another?  I use it all the time but had a mishap and need to regrind the bit. I will just do it anyway, but it would save guesswork. I make violin bows and ‘things’ of all sorts. Leo

Thanks John, if you could tell us the angles of the vee and the slot. Then a 3D-print would be easy.

            Kind regards,
            Hans

I never liked the Eccentric Jig. It seems to have been designed to be cheap & cheerful to manufacture? Luckily many have made their own jigs to use with shop made tools so I just copied the idea. Far nicer to use in my opinion.

Edit: I should have said I use it with a belt grinder. It could be used on the side of a wheel or a disc sander though.

                        It’s not too critical, about 30°. 😉
