spindle taper type on Archdale mill

can any one identify the spindle type on my Archdale vertical milling machine, a MT2 socket fits but has about .008″ slop at large end of taper, I am guessing it may be infact be a brown & sharpe No7 but can any one confirm this. has any one out there a manual or other details I could copy or buy?

Other mill details

serial No. ?        VM227

table size           25″ x 10″

6 spindle speeds from 235 to 1500rpm

4 table feeds      0.872 to 4.00″ / min
