Soft iron rivets

I’m having difficulty with steel 1/8″ dia. rivets. They are very difficult to work and I am starting to annoy my neighbours. does anyone know where i can get some soft iron rivets? I presume they will be easier to work.

You could always try annealing your rivits, heat to red heat and hold the temp for a minuit or so and then allow to cool slowly. Even at 1/8″ they do need a good belt or three to form a decent head and don’t muck about with a snall hammer you will only work harden them, about a 1 1/2lbs hammer will do
