Setting up track

Hello,

I have just bought some steel rail and want to set up a 7.25" track. Any ideas on sleeper spacing please Tips on possible pitfalls about laying track would be greatly appreciated.

There's a wealth of knowledge out there that would save me making silly errors.

What is rhe rail section size and what locos and rolling stock do you plan to run on it?
