Safety Switch Wiring

I am trying to wire up this switch to a small single phase lathe. I have followed the diagram, but the magnetic switch does not operate/energize. If I activate the switch with the manual button, the output to the motor becomes live as expected. Can’t see what I have done wrong, help!

Check if the coil voltage is for 380 or 220 volt, that may be your problem.

You need to connect a neutral to the coil as it is a 240v. Live to 1, link 2 to 3 and also neutral to 5. connect the motor to 4 an 6. Set the overload to the full load amps as stated on the motor. That should work, according to the diagram. Noel

Thank you both, all working now. I connected neutral supply to the coil and left everything else as was. Motor connected to 2 & 6
