      @richard2

      Can any one give me any ideas on rounding the ends of con and coupling rods on a sander?

      I don't have enough brain cells as an oldie to be able to work out some sort of adjustable plate to feed the rod up to the belt.

      Yes, I know it can be done on the mill – but – as a still playing musician I value the ends of my fingers

      Many thanks

      Richard.

          Suggest you turn a button type guide to locate in the end hole and with the same radius as the end of the coupling rod. You also need to have a table to rest the coupling rod on which is at 90 degrees to the disc or belt.

            Thanks Alain

            I have found a device in an American book for use on the the mill which I have put together and does the job very well.

            Regards

            Richard.
