Rotary converter

Hi got my rotary converter up and running 240 to 415.Tried it and ran my lathe the voltages were 419,396 and 389 would this be considered acceptable or is it too far out of balance?

Unless it has recently changed the accepted voltage tolerance in the UK is 415 -6% +10% which gives you 390 low and 456 high so you should be okay.

How is the amperage though?

I don't think balance between phases and voltage tolerances are the same. Three phases all at +10% is not the same as two @ +10% and the other @-6%.

Whether that would make any difference operationally, I don't know. But we always tried to even out the legs on three phase generators as much as possible.
