Hi all, I am currently in the process of refurbishing an old Maxitrak Coronation which I have aquired. For those of you not familiar with this engine it is a North British diesel shunter made in 1953 and carried the number D2700. The engine had a black chassis with red buffer beams. The cab and bonnet was BR green (I think it was Brunswick Green but stand to be corrected). The rear of the cab and the radiator were painted yellow with diagonal black chevrons. I have stripped the loco down and are having the paint soda blasted down to the bare metal. The chap doing the blasting has also offered to powder coat or paint the loco. He has said that he would need the RAL numbers for the various colours in order to accurately paint the engine. I have tried looking at various colour charts on the internet to try and identify the red, green and yellow shades, but as I am red/green colourblind I am not having much success. Does anybody know what RAL colours I would need or could you possibly suggest some numbers that are somewhere near.
Best regards
Andrew
