Thanks very much Andy. To be fore-warned is to be fore-armed, as they say – so for small scale stuff it seems, from your experience, that the Sieg is not a good choice for the type of work I want to do.

 

Cowells does look good – but that price!!!

Hi There

I would look at a second-hand Cowells, the Peris, The Simat 101 and I think the Flexispeed.

All are similar.

All can be purchased for a maximum of £200 and more often near to £100.

I know, I have done it on several occaisions including a Cowwels for £100.

There was a Simat on Ebay recently went for £135 buy it now.
