I have recently purchased a Picador 4A power saw but have one part missing.
I need to find out the dimensions, hopefully a drawing of the link between the secondary piston and the cam in the rise and fall mechanism. I also need to know does the system use oil or hydraulic fluid to act as a damper in the mechanism’s sump? If there is anyone who still has one of these machines working I would welcome some help.

          Hi There
We always used oil in the dashpot.
          regards David

Thank you Dave, that’s one mystery solved, now if I can only locate a working machine I might be able to discover what I need to know about the rise and fall mechanism.
            Best wishes
            Mike
