Please can anyone advise me which is the best oil to use in the ball bearing oilers on a Tom Senior M1 milling machine?
Also does anybody know somebody who does general maintenance on milling machines in the Midlands/Staffs area?
I would use ISO 32or SAE 10 hydraulic oil, this is a light oil or for something a bit thicker ISO 68 or SAE 30. straight engine oil. Both are mineral oils NOT synthetic. available from a motor factor in 1/2 or 1 liter pot. Good Luck Noel.
Thanks very much Noel! I’ve ordered some now! 😊
