Forgive me – I'm 'new' but getting older !

Just sent off a first thread for moderation about Tom Senior milling machine.

I've been working on my own cars and motor cycles for far too long (50+ years) but still learning.

Used to make lots of flying models (a few RC) but in recent years 99% of 'spare' time is spent fettling classic cars and bikes.

Welcome Nigel, you will find like minded people on here ( mine is a 1931 Austin Seven).

Any questions are sure to attract answers.

Hi Nigel, welcome, I am an old biker as well. Just finished with bikes actually and getting into model engineering. David.

Good to see I'm not alone. wink

Majority of my retirement time is taken up with 'fixing things' in my workshop. I'm rebuilding/tweaking a Singer 10 engine for my 1939/46 HRG1100.

There is a 1928 Riley 9 special underway in the shed.

Far too many motorcycle projects to list! (My other half says I'm a hoarder …)

My favourite is a Guzzi Monza closely followed by a Yamaha TR1 – I like the engineering of these older bikes.

Did the 'British thing' long ago and now the only Brit is an early 'Bloor' Triumph Trophy 900 triple …

Brian. Forgot to say — I did Austin 7's years ago (when a running car cost me £15 !)

Just cleared out a small shed at my old home and found A7 parts but mainly 3-bearing later stuff.
