I am about to remove the bull wheel/gear from my newly aquired super 7. The bull wheel has a crack so needs replacing. The original manual has a paragraph on its removal. But I anticipate it will not be a 5 min job. Has anyone got any hints/tips on how to do it?

Hi DW

When removing spindle there  is a small woodruff key . so make sure you don,t loose this as it may drop . Is it a mark 2 S7

Hello Nobby, thanks for the prompt reply, will watch out for that, not sure about mark 2, looked up serial number & it was 1964 (if I rem' correctly).
