Frankly, I would not bother. It is not a patch on his excellent ML7 series book. Most disappointing to say the least and copies are quite expensive.

Thanks to John & Michael.  I am aware of the maker’s manual and library copies.  However, I would really like my own copy of the Bradley book.

Stuart , myford- lathes are advertising 3 off @£47 ea. At the recent Midlands Exhibition I noticed good stocks of used books on The Engineers Emporium stand as well as a few on Home and Workshop I believe . Maybe worth a couple of phone calls ? Trevor .

Would also suggest you look at the PBFA web site to see if theres a convenient book fair to you . Because of the number of secondhand book sellers attending past fairs , I’ve been able to find a number of books I wanted . Good luck with your search .

I agree with Andrew Tinsley. I had an original copy of the book when I owned an ML10 and can confirm its contents were very disappointing, a bit like the ML10 itself, IMO! Far better to acquire a copy of Sparey’s ‘Amateur Lathe’ or anything by GHT or Martin Cleeve and then a half decent Super 7 or at least an ML7R.
