      p4111626 (large).jpgp4111639 (large).jpgHi.

I recently purchased these four stationary engine models, I had to buy all four to get the one I wanted.

They are all extremely well built by the same person. There are no names on them & apear to be built from bar stock apart from the fly wheels.

They all ran first time on air with no attention to them apart from oiling..

I'm hoping you can identify them.

There are more photo's in my stationary engine Album.

      Thank you

I don't think any are to a published design just generic double diagonal, curved cylinder, beam and horizontal twin.

May be worth asking on the unofficial Mamod forum.

If I had to guess I’d say the engine you wanted was the beam.engine. Mick

Thanks for that , you calling one a "curved cylinder" allowed me to search on that & came up with M' A de Polignac's curved cylinder engine , the plans & castings were available from Poly Engineering & was featured in EIM June 1995-Dec 1995. ( any one prepared to scan this article? ) I think the one I have is just built from the plans as the frames are brass not steel as provided by Polly

                Mick.

You are correct, it was the beam engine I wanted.
