Minnie Traction – Driving Pins

L C Mason states that the although there is the one Driving pin on one side the other has 4 pin holes, that are seemingly in an arbitory position.

I am confused by the 4 pin holes. Can anyone tell me … Do these drill thru the Hub cap, as there is no roon outside of that.. If so are they near the egge of the Hup cap.

If anyone has a photo I would apreciate a copy. Or of course any other advice is very much apreciated.

One hole passes through the hub so the pin can locate in one of the hole in the driving centre. You will need to notch the hub cap on both sides to clear the flanged catch of the pin

The section on page 58 of the book should make it clear. There is only one hole in the brake drum and only one in the drive ctr and 80T gear not 4, you may be looking at the 4 bolt holes that hold the gear to the ctr
