Ah, I see I have “hooverised” my terms – it is a tablet based DRO which has been integrated with ELS, not the specific TouchDRO product. That will have to remain on the wish list, but I still think this sort of system should be the way to go.
I agree the video is, as the creator admits, sloppy and rambling but the principle appears to be that you have a single large display showing x/y positions for the tool and then a set of selectable modes for either freehand, turning or threading and the ability to move between them without losing parameters.
