Marquess 3 1/2 Gauge

Hello,

I’m looking for some advice.

I’m currently clearing out my late fathers garage and was wondering what to do with one of his many projects. I believe its a Marquess, 3 1/2 inch gauge and unfinished. I think he said the boiler was part tested (?!). As I’m no expert on these engines I wondered where I would go to sell this, what it' worth or what to do with it.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your father.

The loco and other things in his workshop amy be quite valuable.

Thanks Neil, very interesting. We have already disposed of a number of items, lathe etc. Still a few things I am keeping as a reminder of the many hours I spend with him – sad to see workshop dismantled.
