I have been interested in many forms of Lathe tyoe work. Initially I learnt to use my Fathers Myford (he got it in about 1930). I latter years I ahve concentrated on very complicated wood turning making items with as many as 2500 pieces of wood. These I have exhibited in the UK and America, and are now held in collections in UK, USA, Australia and Switzerland. Alas due to the types of wood I used (most very toxic) my lungs became very affected. I therfore sold all my equipment in 2015 and turned my attention to CNC work. To this end I imported a GX-6060 CNC from China, which is the machine I now use. On this I have been making Clocks and other interesting items

Welcome to the forum Malcom, good to have you on board. I'm intrigued by your wood turning, do you have any pictures?
