      Hi chaps,

I was lucky enough to pick up a loco recently through a friend, and I was wondering if anyone might have any a possible maker, any clue on how to identify it, even what scale it is, or even to say I'm mad for taking this on!

Ive tried to show basic dimensions below. a word of warning, it's a little rough round the edges so I have my work cut out for me, but it should be an interesting project!

a few bits and bobs came with it too…

Looks like a 5" gauge "Speedy" – a GW 15xx Pannier Tank Engine – to the LBSC design.

The remaining full size example of the 10 built resides on the Severn Valley Railway. Although a Great Western design they were all built under British Railways auspices.
