He is 14 so something 3 1/2inch?

Does your son want to build his own engine or simply buy and operate an engine?

Either way, a good start might be for you to visit your local model engineering club and one of the model engineering exhibitions.

He has been a steam apprentice so now is looking for his own toy

Keep an eye on the classifieds here or in our magazines. Some remarkable good deals come up from time to time.

Hauling along to a local club is good idea.
