I had need to position an accurate hole on some rectangular plate to bore it out on the lathe. So I knocked up one of those quick thingies to go between tap guide and stock.. you know the thing.. a point one end and a divot the other and use a DTI to adjust the chuck. I happened to dig out a piece of broken feathering shaft from my heli broken bits box to make it.

It raised a smile when i took it out of the lathe and spotted the lasered logo 'Align'
