Leo Hjort keyless chuck – Stuck

Dear Members

I have 2 Leo Hjort keyless chucks (came from an estate auction, not mounted on arbors).

Both are stuck fast. One is fully open, the other is 80% closed.

I saw a post from 2017 from Del Zimmer, he received info on how to take a Hjort chuck apart

Anyone have input on how to proceed.

Welcome to the forum, Edward, if you can post a picture, there may be clues from the design where the joint is to unscrew the halves. Try putting "posting pictures" in the keyword box, there are several tutorials showing how.
