Anyone want a bigger lathe? **LINK**
Definitely better value than a new Myford.
I doubt Mrs Jimmy b would let me!
Jim
Not a bad price or is that $ per metre?
You'd need to get the step ladder out every time you wanted to chuck up another bar of 1" EN1A
Will it run off a 13amp socket?
Think they got the scale ratios wrong – model engineers work in ranges of 1:n , not n:1…

I think you will need an inverter as its 3 phase
Mike
Don't think Planning would let me build a garage long enough to house it; heck, they won't even let me build one long enough to accommodate my standard size VW van and have enough room to walk around it on one end.
I like the idea of a "chip conveyor"….
Is the tailstock MT3 and the headstock 1.5" BSF ? If not I'm not buying it because I couldn't swap tooling between this and my Viceroy !

I think it will be big enough …
"Maximum Workpiece Weight 350000kg."
But does it have enough speed for carbide?
