Bob, That's the point. I think the idea is to make the number high enough that the idiots lose interest before they get there. You get some forums that request say 10 posts before you can post an advert (eg modelboatmayhem) yet still get people who have only joined to advertise some junk and whine that they have to make a whole 10 posts first.

I'm not sure how long it would take to get to 1000 on here. I think a few years at least unless one either posts a lot of one liners or are a fount of knowledge. I see you are ahead of me

As a biker I always use the term 'bike' meaning motorcycle. A bicycle is a 'pushbike'.
