Well another disatourus day tried to steam my black 5 failed again injector problems again.

i turn on the water nice steady Run comes out turn on the steam valve water comes out really fast but no matter how slow i turn the steam valve on it does not pick up properly

When boiler presure drops to below 40 psi it does pick up but will not run dry.

as soon as boiler is up to 90 psi no chance of it picking up at all any suggestions please.

I have tried washing boiler out with citric acid and boiling water leaving for an hour then draining and flushing twice after.

As i have good amount of water coming out of injector don't know what to do other than refit axle pump.

        Help please Ron

The symptoms suggest the cone distances/proportions may be out of whack. Is it/were they home made or bought in?

It may be the clack valve; it's often the case that the ball obscures the entrance hole, thus giving back pressure and the water squirts out of the overflow. Might not be enough lift of the clack valve ball to pass all the water.

I will alter the distance from ball valve to top and try that thank you good advice
