Hi,

I have decided after many years to bite the bullet and have a go at model engineering. A long, long time ago I was the member of a model engineering club under the umbrella of the model boating section 😀 Trying tp get up to speed on lathes and what to buy.

Will probably start with a simple oscillating engine. But need to aquire a lathe 1st ;D thanks for the headsup on the guide.

Tread carefully and slowly when choosing your lathe, you must first decide on the type/size of things you want to make. Welcome along and do not be afraid to ask any questions.
