Help Need by Engineer

Not sure if this forum can help me, but having retired at 70 with a recent woodworking hobby, I am looking for someone local to me, (B47 area – Near Wythall, South Birmingham) , that could adapt a modern 16" bandsaw and fit different guides, using modified bearings to hold the blade above and below the table.

The reason I would like someone local is so that they could visit and discuss what I have in mind and see the machine, but thought that a model engineer should have the expertise that I do not and may find the task interesting. I would obviously expect to pay for parts and labour once a price is agreed

I forgot to mention on my thread that if my idea for modification works as well as I expect, then it could be something that others would want to use, so a possibility of more work, but not a mass production sort of thing and probably different adaptations for the various types of bandsaws. I will happily call to see and discuss my requirements before asking anyone to visit me, but would like someone in the Birmingham or surrounding area please.
