Hey guys

Could anyone please help me identify any of these tools they are all branded but am not having much luck on google etc

Are they worth selling if so what are the names of the items

I have another 3 boxes full but these looked like the most expensive items but really have no clue

I would bet the item in the blue box is a Clarkson Autolock Chuck.

With a 30 int taper by the look of it. Might get £50 for it if anyone wants one. The Bernerd 4 jaw looks tasty,depends what backplate fitting and size it is. The other stuff doesn't look very interesting.

OK, OK, I'll bite ……. look on fleebay for the following

Drills, Chucks, Reamers, Chasers, Allen driver, taps, BT30 adaptor, dies, milling cutters, 4 jaw chucks, Horizontal milling arbor support (or whatever you call them), inserts.

I suggest you put them on ebay (which I assume is behind the question) as job lots. The 4 jaw and the autochuck are probably worth £40 quid each if OK, the rest is between 1 and £20 per item, but only if you research and describe them properly (name, size etc)

Hi Conor, it's a bit difficult to be specific about individual items but you seem to have a fairly random selection of various drill bits, milling cutters & possibly a part set of a collet chuck for holding certain milling cutters. To be honest everything looks a bit "second hand" and you might just be lucky and get yourself a bit of beer money as a job lot at a car boot sale. The only thing I can see that might fetch a few pounds in its own right is the 4 jaw chuck in your fifth photo but without knowing the make, size and fitting type it's impossible to give any sort of real value.

Sorry it's not much help but from the photos you don't have anything there that has any real value. As I said, car boot sale would be your best way of disposing or perhaps eBay as a job lot sale but it would have to be sold as "collection only" as postage would cost more than the items are worth! Would still be interesting to see what you have in the other 3 boxes though!

Interest is in the eye of the beholder ! When advertising the Clarkson be sure to list the sizes of the collets which will probably be imperial. Measure the size of the thickest part of the taper. 30int is about 35mm. Probably only about £30 though.

I mention the taper as the drill chuck seems to be smaller. Maybe just the angle. Anyway you should separate it from the drill chuck which is probably on an MT2 arbor. If the INT arbors are not the same size the smaller may be 20INT which is rather unusual but not valuable as only about 1 machine uses it.

In photo 3 there is a fat drill probably on MT2, a reamer on MT3 and another reamer on MT2. Or they might all be one number smaller.

When advertising the 4 jaw chuck do not just slap a ruler in the general vicinity of a photo as it is seldom clear enough to get accurate sizes that way. Measure overall diameter, diameter of hole, details of any thread on the back.

The box of rusty bars with serrated ends are thread chasers.

At the top of the bottom photo is a horizontal mill arbor support. Provide a better picture and some dimensions and we may be able to identify likely machines it fits.

Top item in photo 2 with point is a revolving centre.

There are plenty of couriers around so if you don't get and list a shipping price for the chuck you are just shooting yourself in the foot. There are a few 12in chucks on ebay at the moment to give you an idea of the value.
