Hi all, I have been lurking for too long, being a subscriber since 2017 finally I wanted to join the community.

I am an hobbyist with interests in metalworking (obviously) and electronics.

My shop includes two lathes, a cinese T660 and an Italian Merli-Padovani 165, 2 milling machines, a bf20L which I have recently converted to cnc an an old Rigiva(riva) U8 plus variuos tool grinding machines like a deckel S1 and a lip515 surface grinder (small but useful).

with all this meat I do enjoy doing mantainance on my boat, fixing broken things for me and my friends and of course building new tools .

that's all

thanks to modelengineersworkshop for so many ideas and hints I really cannot keep up with and to the community for ..the same reasons

Welcome Fabio lots of information and help on here, where about in Italy are you ? Guess with a boat its either the coast or a lake ?

There are lots of international members on MEW and new ones are always welcome. I live in Sydney, Australia and have retired from a career in mechanical engineering design. My hobby interests are mostly steam related (and boats). A steam powered boat is high on my wish list.
