Hello all, new member here. Would just like to say a big hello to all. I will admit now, I have spent a few hours in life on a lathe but not much. I have recently acquired a Boxford lathe, I think it is a TUC? I have lots of daft questions and I am hoping that there will be someone out there that can help me. I have found a lot of helpful information up to yet from this site. I will do my best to help other members so look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome Martin, you will find lots to interest you and very willing, helpful people if you need any help or advice.

Your lathe could be a TUD (Training Under-Drive) but to be sure, have a look at http://tonygriffiths.com/

Thank you. I do have lots of questions so you may regret writing that. After further research I think it is a Boxford BUD. Made in the late 60'S. That's one of my questions to which I will direct to the correct section of this forum.
