      The smaller the included angle of the groove the greater the belt traction. There is a trade off. With increased traction comes increased wear. If I were making the pulley I would probably use 34 deg. included.

        For my pennance, Jeff … I've found this useful list.

        I'm not sure where I got he idea, but; although I knew that Polystyrene was a thermoplastic, I thought here was some problem with remelting previously moulded material [something to do with it decomposing before it melts].

        I was evidently wrong; so thanks again for putting me right.
