Ah, polystyrene most certainly CAN be remelted, as can all thermoplastics. Thermosets are the ones that can not be remelted, such as phenolics ( Tufnol is one brand) and epoxy. JD

For my pennance, Jeff … I've found this useful list.
I'm not sure where I got he idea, but; although I knew that Polystyrene was a thermoplastic, I thought here was some problem with remelting previously moulded material [something to do with it decomposing before it melts].
I was evidently wrong; so thanks again for putting me right.
