I first heard this many years ago and forgot who performed it. Having undertaken the task of unearthing a copy I was delighted to uncover a YouTube version this afternoon which for me had for so long been buried from sight. Hopefully this will help raise your spirits amid the rigours of our nationally imposed stiff disciplines.

One of my claims to infamy is playing the concertina for a Morris side. I went to see John Kirkpatrick perform a few years ago and came to the conclusion that he has more fingers than other people, otherwise he wouldn't be able to play as he does.

This particular track also features on 'Banana Blush' read by John Betjeman, the poet.

I can't understand it, and I am a native English speaker.
