Ron, I knew I had brochures, but not where to look. Your plea for help nagged at me. Having turned the place upside-down, I’ve found three of them (1996, 1997, 1998)! Possibly too old?

Please can you be specific about just what info. you’d like (i.e. for which holders)? There’s a large number of tool holders for turning and milling. I s’pose, if you asked me very nicely, I could scan a brochure for you, but, again, I need to know what you want, to make sure it’s in the brochure.

Put the holder number in Google and ask what tips fit it.

                  Bill,

If you mean my previous comment; it’s not a link to the information sheet, it’s a link to a previous thread on here, where Nigel gave the Sandvik part number for one of the Greenwood items.

We still don’t know what sort of tool system Ron bought off Greenwood, so it’s hard to assist further.

An archive search for their website gives lots of hits, but I understand that they did offer different models, so without knowing the vintage, I’m stuck

From this random page from 2018
The new KIT-QD parting tool has a better insert location, a stronger body and an improved insert design compared to the original KIT-Q-CUT. So there’s at least two types.

                  From a random 2020 page

shows two relevant items; in Greenwoods parlance Types 11 & 18, and clicking on those links shows
Insert Type 11 -Product code: N151.2-250-5E4125

Insert Type 18 -Product code: QD-NF-0250-0002

Searching on either of those Product Codes gives relevant Sandvik links, so prospective purchasers just need to compare the specs of those inserts with alternative manufacturers.
