EX vER collets any difference?

I have acquired a couple of chucks with EX20 collets. Can anyone tell me if they are the same as ER20 ? I have tried an ER 20 in them and it seems OK

Michael, thanks for the prompt reply. Looks like I can use my ER20 stuff in the EX chucks, I will still "Blue" a collet in the chuck to give myself assurance though. I had the pleasure of using a Schaublin mill at one time in my working life but did not do anything other than simply use the collets that came with the machine. Chris.
