Well, having placed such on the Tea Room a couple of days ago:

This is within a secure school grounds so although we welcome visitors it needs be by prior arrangement anyway, and of course outside of school hours. The site is also used by sports-clubs so it’s not quite as hermetic as that seems.
Our reason for running suspension is that the ground-level track especially is fringed by hedges along neighbouring homes’ gardens, and a row of pine trees that cover the ground and track with dry needles.
Such suspension would obviously apply to boiler steam-accumulation tests, but should not stop cold examinations and hydraulic-only tests.
I would also suggest societies examine and if necessary suspend their own use of any angle-grinders and welding-sets outdoors.
