EMG-20 Cutter sharpener

I’ve just won an EMG-20 cutter sharpener with a faulty power supply on ebay!

I’m sure we can fix the problem but will need a users handbook, and was wondering if anyone had one they could scan and get over to me please?

I was wondering who’s won that; the first time it was listed, the seller only showed the bare machine without any holders etc.

Lol, it was me Bill! Hadn’t seen it before though, it wouldn’t have been much use without the holders.  Seller was Black Dog Machinery who sell all sorts of s/h stuff – maybe they hadn’t realised what it was!

I’ve a very good friend who is into power supplies, he’s pretty sure he can fix it, so it’ll be over to his place when it gets here…

I wouldn’t have bothered if it had been the EMG-12 but this is ok for 4-20mm cutters which covers the HSS I mainly use so just the job.  I can robably work out how to use it but a hand book would be handy.

I was tempted, but decided I wouldn’t get the use out of it to justify the cost.
I already have a Clarkson, with air spindle, a Herbert Junior, and a Quorn.

Have a word with Ketan, and see if he has it in electronic format.

Stop press!  One of our great forum members has kindly offered to send me some scans of the EMG-20 manual so I’m pretty sure I can work with that.
