      Gents,

I was planning to change the oil in my FB-2 today but when I unscrewed the oil sight plug it broke

I am now without machines as the Newton Tesla CL-750 on the Super 7 failed yesterday. Complete disaster!

Does anyone happen to know what the thread is on the oil sight plug? I see

that there are plenty for sale online and think they may be cheaper than the original from Emco.

thanks and warm regards from the Netherlands

      Mark

I and no doubt other NT CL-750 users would be glad to be kept informed about your problem and its hoped-for early solution.

Good luck with the sight plug!

            Thanks ega,

I spoke to NT yesterday and have sent them the unit for repair. The fwd/rev switch broke. Apparently

they have since switched to a newer, better switch that fails to fwd. My older switch fails to zero.

            thanks,

            Mark

I have found the thread guages and found that it seems to be M16x1.5. The original sight glasses come from a company called Elesa-Ganter who sell all sorts of hydraulic parts.

Ok to bring this to a close, I have found them on the Elesa-Ganter website and they cost €1,66 each

                😄
