hi all I know the will be a stupid question it is about subscriptions and email notifications.

For a long time I have always got an email to say Preview your Model Engineer workshop and has been very useful when I have been on holiday as a preview to what is coming up.

For a while now I have been getting an email saying Preview your Model Engineer as I do not subscribe to this I am surprised as I only subscribe to Model Engineer workshop is this a glitch in the system or advertising to get me to subscribe to ME

I get emails about both mags but only subscribe to MEW. Doesn't bother me and might encourage me to buy ME some months.

I subscribe to MEW and used to get emails about the forth coming magazine but now I get notification about ME instead which I dont subscribe to.

No Kevin it isn`t just you. I`m the same as you & Martin.

By the way anyone else noticed that the header on this site shows issue 208 of MEW as current . Perhaps someone can get MEW back on the same footing as ME which seems to be kept up to date regularly!

Think it's universal. I subscribe to MEW, get emails about ME.

So they're not just picking on you.

perhaps a moderator can confirm if it a glitch in the system as I would prefer the MEW email notification

I've already alerted Diane to this thread. As I don't take MEW I can't comment on whats comming through.

I have just had a phone call from my provider saying their system is OK.

I still get no email notification for my forum threads.

They are on my bookmarks.

I get email notifications of the latest magazines.

Other forums are OK.

I wonder if there is a glitch on this forum?

Notification used to work in the past.

Wife renewed ME and MEW subscriptions a few weeks ago (and upgraded to include digital).

Your subscriptions expires in xxx days message continues on when I log in.

left it until message read 6 days left …

Called subscriptions last week to check … They claimed subscriptions already renewed and upgraded (credit card already debited btw). Can't do anything about website until it fails .

message now reads 1 day left. I hope it's a simple bug and rolls over tomorrow … We shall see.

Btw also got subscription expires email after renewing subscription as well as renewal letter request (yesterday).

You will get the message that its due to expire even if you have renewed but it will go when th enew sub starts.

David, if you registed with Pocketmags you will get the correct notifications from them when the mag is available to view not on teh publication date.
