So far August has been a pain for things going wrong and today has been nothing different, took the switch panel of the front of the surface grinder and it slipped out of my hand pulling out all the wires, can any one tell me the right location they go back in.

      Regards Al.

          Hi Alan

Those items on the cover, are they 2 pairs of on/off push buttons and

howmany wires were attached to them, i notice 2 MEM contactors in the

box. can you perhaps post clearer images of those connections on

the cover, it looks like the cover carries external controls for the contactors.

          regards

          Mike M

I should add that the top of the plate is on the right hand side. On mine this is the wheel on buttons.

Looks like each cable and pair of buttons provides a standard '3 wire remote' for a contactor. Since old colour code mains cable has been used I wouldn't wish to hazard a guess as to what colour goes where, or even if they are consistent between the two sets!

NC button should be in series with the contactor stop button, NO button in parallel with contactor start button.

Should be simple to anyone familiar with wiring contactors – plenty of generic information around, but if in any doubt call an electrician – better safe than sorry.

Hi guys" sorry David thanks for the photos, I though it was Steve who had sent them, as I was talking to him that morning & he said he would post a photo. Not until he rang me last night with some good advice, did I know it was not him, & I had thank the wrong chap.

please accept my apology gentlemen, & I for one could not do any engineering without you all.

                        Regards

                        Robin..

Ah! I was about to post that either I had managed to 'ignore member' to an unfortunate Steve, and couldn't find out how to get them back again, or that there was another bug in the website!
