Hi all.

I have been searching the site and also the internet regarding information for builds of the D&RG C19 locomotive in 7 1/4 . I have not found any information or topics regarding the construction of one of these in this gauge.

Could any of you point me in the right direction for any information related to this or also if any of you know where someone runs one at a club.

Hi Ben,

I presume you are referring to the Milner designed C19 – I think the castings/drawings are with Reeves. There are a few around – two at Echills Wood a couple of years ago and Station Rd. steam have also had a couple in – one was from the Comrie RR. If you put "Milner" into your searches it might bring up more info. Sorry can't be more help regarding construction though.

Hi Ray.

That is indeed the locomotive I'm referring to. I wasn't aware that it was Milner design, so thanks for that, I will add that to my searches like you suggested. I have seen the ones that station road had for sale, and they were very impressive.

Ideally I'd like to visit a track where this engine is frequently run so I could have a good inspection of it and a talk with the owner etc.

I built a C19 last year and i used the milner drawings and made a few mods to improve loco wnd jt steams and goes well
