Delapena hone help please

Hello

I have a Delapena horizontal speedhone s.

Can anyone help with how I set the stone pressure.

There are 2 dials which create stone pressure, the middle dial and the right dial

I can get pressure with the middle dial (pedal off) but when I push the pedal it makes no difference unless I turn the right dial…..issue then I when I release the pedal the pressure won’t release, unless I push “in” the middle dial

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

I’m doing this with the machine off…maybe it needs to be rotating to set pressures?
